I lived in a house in Toronto after graduating college ($500/month by the way, rip) that was absolutely not fit for human life. Raccoons had taken over the crawlspace in my room and were making nests out of my clothes/books/etc. Every morning we would wake up on the floor (could not afford a bed) and knock on the walls to make them disperse. We moved, and then eventually broke up. One one of my Google Street View adventures, I wanted to check in on that little house. It's been completely demolished and now a multimillion dollar home stands in its place. This is a song about chapters ending, new perspectives, yknow. Loneliness.
